What you may do
You may use our images in blog posts, articles, editorial features, forum replies, social media and educational material. You may crop or resize them to suit your layout. Every use must meet all of the conditions below.
Conditions of use
- Visible credit. The credit must appear beside, beneath, or directly on the image, not buried on a separate credits page.
- A followed link. The credit must link to the domain named in the image’s embedded copyright information. The link must not carry
rel="nofollow"orrel="sponsored". Please use our business name as the anchor text and avoid keyword-stuffed anchors. - No claim of authorship. You may not state or imply that you designed, drew, built or photographed the project shown.
- Embedded copyright information must remain intact. Every file carries EXIF, IPTC and XMP copyright, creator and usage information. Removing or altering it is a separate violation from the copying itself under both Canadian and United States copyright law.
What is not permitted
Our images may not be used by businesses offering competing design, architectural, renovation or construction services to represent their own work or in their advertising, whether in print or online. They may not be resold, sublicensed or redistributed through stock photo libraries or image banks. They may not be included in machine learning or AI training datasets, or used to generate derivative imagery. They may not be used in any context that is defamatory, misleading, or that misrepresents the construction methods or details shown.

Permission is revocable
This permission is granted at our discretion and may be withdrawn at any time. If we ask you to remove an image, please do so promptly. Continued use after a removal request, or any use that breaches the conditions above, is an infringement of copyright.

Get in touch through the contact page on this site for anything outside these terms, including print publication, commercial licensing, or use of construction details and drawings that do not appear on this website.
